Two bronze male figures, 'Jarrow Marchers', holding a banner with 'Jarrow Crusade' marked on it. Other figures of a women holding a baby, and two children and a dog all mounted on a bronze base mounted on a brick base. Surrounding the figures are the representations of skeletal ribs of a ship with various tools on the base. The sculpture was made to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the Jarrow Marchers.
