Biblical scene depicting the Raising of Lazarus. Christ stands to the right with his right arm raised in blessing over the corpse of Lazarus slumped in the centre, and held by both a young and old man. In the bottom left corner Mary Magdalen, Lazarus' sister, kneels with her arms crossed over her chest, whilst his other sister Martha stands between the body and Christ, holding up her robe to shield herself from the stink of the corpse.
