Inscription description
High left on panel: 'Wolsey'. Dendrochronology in 2009 revealed that four panel portraits (TC Oils P 76, 149, 215 and 225) contained boards from the same tree, and indicates a common usage period of 1585-1596 for all four panels, which were presumably commissioned together.
