A Chinese (?) carved soapstone figure of Tsze Ying, dancing, holding a triangular-shaped vessel with a flat top and a lotus flower engraved on the front. The figure is wearing a decorative head piece and has its right hand resting on the right side of its head, its left leg is bent from the knee out to one side. The figure is red/brown and cream in colour with dark brown rock detailing, there are two circular holes in the base with two wooden pegs protruding. Fits into the base recorded under 1973.93b.2.
