The monument comprises a latin cross on a hollow shouldered octagonal pedestal, moulded plinth and two-stepped base. The cross has a roundel on both faces containing inscriptions and dates in relief. A further inscription extends anticlockwise around the base, and a plaque on the shaft of the cross bears a further inscription and list of names.
