This is a study for the panoramic mural (on panels) that Sorrell created for the Nelson Bar on the converted aircraft carrier 'Campania', which took a reduced version of the Festival of Britain around the British coast in 1951. The finished version, now framed as a series, has been in the National Maritime Museum since 2014.
