This evocative painting celebrates the triumph of the 'seven days and nights' Jaguar XK120 at Montlhéry in 1952. The team of drivers - Leslie Johnson, Jack Fairman, Bert Hadley and Stirling Moss - circulated the car for seven days and seven nights covering nearly 17,000 miles at an average speed of over 100mph. The magazine 'Motor Sport' acclaimed the exploit as 'perhaps our finest post-war accomplishment'.
