Lisa Moravec is a fully-funded PhD candidate at the Drama, Theatre and Dance Department at Royal Holloway, a part-time teacher at the arts department at Kingston University and a freelance writer. Her research focuses on the techniques of 'dress-aging' the body in performance and its technologies of documentation in contemporary art practices, with a focus on human-horse relationships from 1969 onwards. 

Previously, she read Economics and Journalism at Kingston, and Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art, UCL and at the LMU in Munich. Her German and English writing has appeared online and in print in various publications, such as in Die Springerin (AT), the Burlington Magazine (UK), Studio International (UK, forthcoming), Aesthetica Magazine (UK, forthcoming), the online magazine of Widewalls (CH), on Russian Art & Culture UK, London's City A.M.Die Weltkunst (DE), Kunst & Auktionen (DE), Reflektor-M (DE) and on her own platform WatchFineArtsLondon that she founded in 2012.
