Claire Stewart studied History of Art at the University of Edinburgh and went on to complete a postgraduate Diploma in Art Gallery and Museum Studies at the University of Manchester. She has been Curator of The Lowry Collection at The Lowry in Salford since 2007, where her exhibitions have included ‘Lowry and the Pre-Raphaelites’ and ‘Unseen Lowry’. Claire previously worked as Senior Exhibitions Officer at National Museums Liverpool and as Keeper of Art at Towneley Hall Art Gallery & Museums. She began her career at National Galleries of Scotland.
