Katy Hessel is a curator, art historian, and founder of @thegreatwomenartists, an account that celebrates female artists on a daily basis. She is the host of the 'The Great Women Artists Podcast.'
She regularly writes on the subject of women artists and has led talks on the subject for The National Gallery, The Courtauld, Cambridge University, Pallant House Gallery, and films for Barbican Centre, Newport Street Gallery and the Royal Academy of Arts.
She has curated exhibitions at Victoria Miro, TJ Boulting and Mother London, and residencies at Palazzo Monti in Brescia. Katy works in Special Projects at Victoria Miro.
