Post-Impressionism

Post-Impressionism describes the work of the generation of largely French painters who followed the Impressionists from the 1880s. Each had their own individual style, going beyond the Impressionists’ naturalistic depiction of light and colour to a focus on abstract shapes or symbolism.

From Cézanne’s vivid palette to Van Gogh’s expressive brushwork, from Seurat’s pioneering experiments with Pointillism to Gauguin’s bold use of colour – choose your favourite Post-Impressionist art print to suit any interior.
