More about

The Royal Signals Museum was first established at Catterick Camp in Yorkshire and moved to Dorset with the relocation of the Corps HQ to Blandford Camp in 1967. The paintings in the collection have generally arrived as the gifts and bequests of individual soldiers or officers of the Corps. They are largely twentieth-century in date and very often painted by the servicemen themselves.
