Founded in 1843 as the Sheffield School of Design, Sheffield Hallam University is now one of the leading applied universities in the UK. Our art collection is exhibited around campus and includes work by former staff and students and part of the original art school teaching collection. Our gallery hosts a programme of temporary exhibitions of art and design.
