Due to Covid-19 restrictions, venues and exhibitions are closed until further notice. We recommend checking with the venues' own websites for up-to-date information. The portraits at the Haddon are part of a large and uniquely valuable collection, overseen by an officer Librarian. A large part of the Haddon’s stock has been acquired by way of donations and bequests. The value of the Library as a working collection for research has been greatly enriched thereby. The Haddon Library serves the staff, research students and undergraduates of the University, together with members of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society. Staff and students of other Universities are welcome to read here, on production of evidence of academic bona fides. Other visitors should enquire in advance. The paintings are not always on display. If you wish to see a particular painting, please contact the collection.
